Cool Goalie Helmet Artwork

I have been facinated with the artwork on goalie helmets for a long, long time. A few years ago I wanted to start a website dedicated to that subject. It was not until very late December 2005 that I actually took pictures of any helmets. With the help of Kevin and Jody B., I was able to photograph the helmets of Curtis Sanford and Jason Bacashihua of the Blues and Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Ilya Bryzgalov of the Ducks.

I will run one set of pictures each day of one of the masks. The first set is Curtis Sanford. He features a wizard with a wand on the right side and an orb on the left that has a Bluenote inside and "Sandman" across the throat. I did not get a picture of it yet, but he also has what appears to be Chinese lettering on the back of the helmet. These are the worst pictures of the set of four masks, so the rest will be much better! Enjoy.

This is why I work...

It's not because of the money. I work for the days when Teemu Selanne says that we have the best ice in the league. The pay sucks, the bullshit is out of hand, but that comment helps you keep going!

In the spirit of Christmas

As it is the holiday season, I would like to throw out a list of NHLer's that I love to hate - in no particular order...

1) All Detroit Redwings... except Stevie Y.
2) Steve Avery - pussy
3) Eric Lindros - pussy with no heart
4) Jaromir Jagr - whiner
5) Darius Kasparitis - dirty prick
6) Todd Bartuzzi - should still be suspended
7) Donald Brashear - He will fight you only if you are smaller than him
8) Ed Belfour - He did offer me a billion dollars to keep him off the list, though
9) Jeremy Roenick - All World Mouth yet often wrong!
10) Darian Hatcher and Bryan Marchment - Only out to injure others

I HATE BUYING GIFTS!!!!!

Actually, I will clarify. I hate buying certain people gifts. It's not that I don't love them, it is just that they are soooooo hard to buy for. They are the type of people that will appreciate the thought, but never will tell you what they want. Throw me a bone here people!

I'm back

Well it has been a while since the last post. Anyway, if you read any of Kathy's blog or have been over to the house, you know what I have been doing. I have gotten to get an early Christmas present for me though... Golden Tee.

Yes, Golden Tee. I will finally have a friend for Kathy's "Sharpshooter" game. Therefore, Joe and Kathy's Sports and Entertainment Escape now has 2 arcade games, a poker table, a big screen and beer fridge... I LOVE THE NEW HOUSE!!!
